Gram flour or Besan as it is popularly known in India is made out of Chickpea. Besan is considered very good for skin and applied especially to kids. It is also used very extensively in the Indian Kitchen.
Curd (Yoghurt) – 2 cups
Gram flour (Besan) – 100 Gms
Roasted Cumin powder (Jeera) – ½ tsp
Salt – as required
Red chili powder – as per taste
Garam Masala – as required
Coriander leaves – as required, finely chopped
Oil – as needed
Method Of Preparation:
1)To get consistency to gram flour, add some water.
2)To this add some salt, and keep beating it till it becomes light. Now once, strain the paste and keep frying till it is crisp and golden.
3)Take the curd and stir it in a Mathani ( a form of hand mixer)
4)To this add boondi, and keep mixing it. In case if it appears thick, then add over a little milk.
5)To this add cumin powder, salt and chili powder and keep mixing it well.
6)For garnishing sprinkle coriander leaves and garam masala powder.
7)Refrigerate it for close to an hour.
8)To be served chilled.
